External Coaching and Communications Manager
Due Diligence - Perform due diligence on external Coaching & Consulting firms to ensure they are in-line with the Firm's core values, Supplier requirements, and Practice Management's strategic priorities (initial assessment/evaluation of firms, review process, ongoing due diligence)
Relationship Building -
1. Understand the FA community and their needs;
2. Build strong relationships with the Field (branch managers, complex managers, support staff, etc);
3. Work collaboratively with various internal Business areas (Practice Management, Vendor Management, Compliance, Risk, Legal, Marketing, Communications, etc);
4. Obtain extensive knowledge of the External Coaching & Consulting firms understand services offered and capability and delivery, what differentiates them, how coaches can develop FAs aligned to Firm initiatives.
5. Become a resource to the Dept, internal Business areas, and the FAs/Field on who to leverage as a coach based on their needs
Support delivery of coaching related training/education to FAs, the Field and external Coaching & Consulting firms (policy, processes, enhancements & updates)
Written/Oral Communication
Desire to develop and edit content (for internal and external newsletters, internal website, presentation decks, policies & procedures, user guides) & ability to tailor message to the type of audience (FAs, Field, Leadership, External Coaching & Consulting firms)

Responsibilities include:

" Support the review and approval process for external Coaching & Consulting firms
" Assist with managing relationships with external Coaching & Consulting firms
" Serve as a liaison between various groups including FAs, Field, Vendor Management, and external Coaching & Consulting firms
" Assess and analyze potential new external Coaching & Consulting firms
" Perform ongoing due diligence on external Coaching & Consulting firms and relate any findings to the Director
" Create and maintain reports, databases and spreadsheets as required (i.E. Track new external Coaching & Consulting firms going through vetting and approval process, track coaching engagements, FA spend analysis, track Firm sponsored coaching program deliverables)
" Maintain internal website and resources used by the FA community
" Support delivery of internal training for FAs & Field
" Assist in development of content for newsletters, internal websites, presentation decks
" Work with Business Control to ensure policies are updated annually
" Point of contact for inquiries from FAs & Field
" Support the Director with the External Coaching Working Group ( setup meetings, draft the agenda & presentation deck, take meeting notes, do follow ups)
" Support the Director with execution of Firm sponsored coaching programs (setup meetings, draft agenda and presentation deck, take meeting notes, track deliverables, do follow ups)
" Assist with executing communication strategy for external Coaching & Consulting firms and overall Advanced Development team
" Perform additional duties and projects as assigned by the Director

Knowledge and Skills:
" 2+ years' experience in vendor due diligence and/or vendor review/approval processes
" Experience working with coaching/consulting firms a plus
" Experience working with or knowledge of Wealth Management Financial Advisors and/or Field Management a plus
" Interest and/or experience in training and development
" Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently
" College degree required
" Experience & desire developing and maintaining successful partnerships to work collaboratively with internal and external partners
" Strong interpersonal skills, i.E. Communication and listening skills
" Strong analytical skills, i.E. Building reports, analyzing data, presenting data
" Comfortable presenting in-person or via virtual meetings
" Excellent writing and editing skills
" Self-motivated, with a high level of initiative and ability to work efficiently and independently
" Extremely organized and possess a high attention to detail
" Very good understanding of computer and web applications, including Microsoft Office Excel, Word, PPT, Outlook, Sharepoint
" Some national travel as needed (10-20%)
