Gathers short- and long-term staffing needs and detailed job requirements from hiring managers and the Manager of Recruiting and Staffing. Develop a staffing strategy that ensures timely sourcing and hiring and ensures the intake of quality talent. Directly sources applicants through personal contacts, referrals, internet posting, and internet searching. Staffing agencies will be utilized at the discretion of the Manager of Recruiting and Staffing, as part of the recruitment strategy. Screens, interviews, refers, negotiates salary, and offers positions to applicants selected by the hiring department and approved by senior management. Ensures compliance with contracts, policies, regulations, and laws. Achieve staffing objectives by recruiting and evaluating candidates, referring, referencing, negotiating salary, advising managers, and offering positions of employment. Improves organization attractiveness by recommending new policies and practices; monitoring job offers and compensation practices; emphasizing benefits and perks. Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; and participating in professional organizations. Accomplishes human resources and organization mission by completing related tasks as needed.
