Market Data Exchangeis recruiting for a Sales Executive that will focus their activities on
prospecting new business and acquiring new customers and accounts in the US. The
Sales Executive is responsible for growing revenues. This role reports to the VP, Global Head of Sales. The Sales Executive will be responsible for selling the full product suite including: Proprietary Data Feeds (Real-time or delayed), Indices and benchmarks, Historical and Corporate Actions Data in the
asset classes we offer (Fixed Income, Equities and Derivatives) and Analytics platform.

Key Accountabilities
Understand the structure, business and in particular, the potential for products within the global capital markets landscape in order to identify new clients or customer segments
Research, create, and manage a sales pipeline of new and prospective customers
Lead in the preparation and execution of pitch meetings with prospective clients including customer research, customer need identification, and solution based selling
Present, promote and sellproducts to new prospects and customers to achieve established gross sales targets
Work with Product Managers to develop, communicate and sell a full suite ofproducts and services.

Professional experience and qualifications
8 - 10+ years experience in strategic selling of capital markets data products to the financial community
Proven ability to prospect, identify and close business with new customers and clients
Expert knowledge of the financial services landscape and ecosystem across the US, including equity and derivatives trading
Proven ability to connect with key decision-makers and utilize your existing network to achieve sales targets
Important general skills include: effective oral and written communication abilities, project planning, presentation skills, ability to work well independently, self-starter, results oriented, and ability to cope with change and ambiguity
Experience in dealing with front, middle and back office clients would be a strong asset
Knowledge of technology delivery and solutions relevant to market data would be another strong asset
