FLOW is the Firm wide application for monitoring market risk limits. It is a key part of client' s strategy of managing market risk and fulfilling regulatory requirements. It calculates and manages limits for all divisions of the Firm and is used by both front office risk takers and managers and the central market risk department to monitor both current day exposures as well as analyze historical trends. Flow is also relied on by other regulatory and other systems to provide key metrics, such as Volcker rule compliance monitoring systems etc.

Flow is continually evolving to support steadily increasing volumes and more and more complex regulatory requirements. Currently are planning a large re-architecture effort to achieve a quantum leap in performance and volumes, we are also merging FLOW with an intraday monitoring system taking our capabilities to an entirely new level. We are planning to use cutting edge technologies like Spark, Hadoop and in-memory databases.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to design, implement, enhance, and support various aspects of the system, including key new deliverables. The position provides potential exposure to the whole breadth of Sales & Trading.

The position will involve developing server-side components.
