Ops Specialist Trade Settlement (DEN)
2. Problem Resolution - Reviews and resolves pre-settlement discrepancies with client and/or broker to ensure timely settlement.- Reviews and resolves post settlement discrepancies, i.E. Failed trades, factor updates, etc.- Reviews daily emails and reports to identify discrepancies or issues requiring timely resolution.- Escalates unresolved trade and settlement discrepancies to management as needed.
3. Communications - Communicates professionally and constructively via email, phone, etc. With internal and external clients and counterparties to effectively resolve issues in order to minimize risk and exposure. - Provides superior client service.- Communicates as part of a team.- Contributes to Management Reporting. This may include providing feedback on broker issues, custodian issues, audit requests, etc. 4. Process Improvement - Gains efficiencies to improve individual productivity.- Has an understanding of the big picture how specific function impacts the firm.- Communicates errors and issues.- Contributes to Division or Firm process improvement activities.- Assists with testing of system enhancements and/or new systems. 5. Training - Provides training on BBH settlement systems to new employees as well as training existing employee's on new task and functions within the group. - Assists team members with day to day activities/provide back-up support.- Acts as a mentor to new hires. - BA/BS degree.- 1 to 2 years experience - Demonstrated PC skills.- Ability to identify, escalate and resolve a problem.- Ability to communicate professionally through effective verbal and written skills.- Ability to manage time efficiently and effectively.- Organizational skills and detail-oriented.- Ability to multi-task.- Ability to work in a team environment.- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
