The primary responsibility is to support the day to day operations of the Loan IQ system by the Loan Agency team; including code table configuration, Level 3 production support, and vendor case reporting and tracking. The business analyst will use the full range of business analysis skills including: user interface, interviewing, workflow analysis, testing, documentation, gap analysis and business requirement writing to serve as business representative to the global change board that manages scheduled production releases including Loan IQ service packs, vendor data fixes, reports, etc.

Primary Responsibilities/Essential Functions:

Core Responsibilities:
  • Provide Loan IQ product knowledge and xbusiness analysis.
  • Manage base code table changes in Loan IQ, including ensuring compliance with the global change control process.
  • Level 3 Production Support Services for Business related Issues.
  • Manage the reporting, tracking and reporting of Loan IQ production cases on the Finastra Support portal.
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the BAU user groups, both onshore and offshore.
  • Establish strong client relationships with operations, accounting, risk and other business partners in order to better satisfy their needs as well as anticipate the issues.
  • Define and implement accounting mapping for commercial lending activities
  • Define and document business requirements.
  • Liaise with development team members to ensure proper understanding of requirements and ensuring quality deliverables
  • Creation of test plans and test scripts
  • Coordinate and liaise with users on User Acceptance Test (UAT) phase.
  • Analyze and prioritize requirements based on catalog management process
  • Perform business process design in conjunction with operations teams
  • Coordinate and liaise with users on User Acceptance Test (UAT) phase.
  • Assist in operational rollout and support

  • 5+ years of experience directly interfacing with Loan IQ business users (front office, middle office and back office) to comprehend and develop business requirements or user process solutions.
  • Proven expertise as business analyst in commercial lending & financing, including loan syndication and trading.
  • Knowledge of Finastra Loan IQ development process, processing and data model
  • Experience interfacing with Finastra support structure, including Finastra support portal issue logging, tracking and reporting.
  • Comprehensive understanding of business analysis methodologies.
  • Advanced skills in interfacing with business clients (front office, middle office) to comprehend and document business requirements and their priority.
  • Excellent communication and written skills.
  • Team player with collaborate attitude.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, commitments and projects.
  • Experience working in collaboration with teams from different areas of organization
  • Efficient time management skills to handle challenging workload.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills. Provide regular work status updates to clients and the manager.
