This technology professional will be instrumental in providing services to a small but rapidly growing cyber forensics firm in mid-town Manhattan. The outstanding candidate will require minimal oversight in a fast-paced environment, work within typical IT procedures (eg, Change Management), and have strong Windows skills, proficiency administering Office365, a working knowledge of Linux, familiarity with managing popular mobile devices, and exposure to virtualization, storage, networking, and infrastructure monitoring. Familiarity with MacOS is a plus. Excellent communication skills are required.

Typical Job Tasks
  • Onboarding staff, some who are remote, including provisioning Office365, building a standard Windows10 laptop, managing Active Directory, provisioning iOS and Android devices (currently iPhones)
  • Maintaining an accurate and complete inventory of all technology assets and deployments including hardward, OS's, applications, licenses and entitlement to services such as Office365, Salesforce, and Journyx
  • Responding to a variety of monitoring events such as security alerts and infrastructure disruptions
  • Supporting end-user technologies (laptops, smartphones, printers) ensuring smooth operation and user understanding and satisfaction
  • Planning, communicating, and executing all manner of infrastructure and end-user changes and improvements, which includes deploying new user tools, implementing firewall rules, upgrading firmware and software on network, storage, virtualization, host, and smartphone devices
