" Ability to handle and prioritize time sensitive issues and materials. " Ensure data entry of delivered content into necessary systems/databases for physical and virtual assets. " Responsible for creating and organizing avid projects along with ingesting media into the Avid Interplay environment. " Responsible for maintaining PAM Workspace. " Responsible for managing asset preparation including but not limited to organizing, pulling content for ingest/broadcast, and returning content to proper storage location physical or virtual. " Provide customer support to all departments and complete tasks in a timely and professional manner. " Retrieval of media files upon request by various departments by set deadlines " Learn and use digital delivery platforms like Aspera or Signiant on a daily basis. " Ability to collect and relay accurate information about assets both verbally and written format to business partners, management suppliers and vendors. " Consistently assess content screening processes and technology to help develop improvements that will enable continued growth and productivity " Manage P2, SD cards, hard drives. " Manage File movement, ingest, metadata organization, troubleshooting software and hardware issues, transcoding and encoding files. " Ensure all ingested content has been correctly and accurately processed by the PAM system this will include checking the technical and visual quality of the ingested asset, accurate entry of metadata and tracking of material IDs. " Additional duties as needed and assigned by Supervisor(s)

Quals--
" Minimum 1 year of experience in a production, post production, broadcast, or communications environment " Minimum 2 years of experience in a job or school related activity using computers and software applications including MS outlook, MS Word, & MS Excel. " Knowledge of various media formats/VTRs (Digibeta, HDcam, XDcam), file types (QT, WMV, MXF, DNX, DV, etc) and video standards (NTSC, PAL) " A team player, who is always respectful, follows rules and policy, has good communication skills, and maintains a positive attitude " Prior experience using media technology library and workflow systems " Flexibility with work schedule; must be able to work late hours, weekends and/or holidays when needed for this 24/7 operation " Professional experience with Avid Media Composer " Prior work in a media management / editing position " Experience with transcoding media files to multiple codec standards " Understanding of frame rates " Organized and punctual with the ability to follow detailed instructions " Past experience in a technical support / troubleshooting role
