Operations is one of the largest divisions in the firm and has diverse responsibilities, including correctly settling and recording millions of transactions per day, identifying and mitigating all operational risks, developing strong client relationships and partnering with technology to realize the full potential of IT and e-solutions. Wealth Management Operations (WM Ops)
Global Wealth Management Operations provides brokerage, investment and financial services to investors. Our services are tailored to each client's investment objectives, risk tolerance, and financial needs. Products include mutual funds, stocks, bonds, and alternative investments where appropriate, as well as banking, mortgages, insurance and annuities.
Specialized Operations Role in COO Business Mgmt Team
WM Ops - Space and Occupancy Management within the Chief Operating Office (daily 70%)
" Planning & coordination of various small and large initiatives, with the Space & Occupancy Manager
" Report preparation in Excel & PowerPoint as needed, including key monthly reports & daily ad hoc reporting
" Data reconciliations from multiple system sources
" Managing and updating individual seating assignments & team allocations in the space system
" Reviewing space plans to assist clients with seating assignments and technology requirements
" New Hire Set up: including technology requirements, credentials provisioning & desk assignments
WM Ops Centralized Support Function within the Chief Operating Office (daily 30%)
" Conference Room Booking
" Conference Room Calendar Updates
" Hotel Seat Booking
" Expense Tracking and Submission for Officer Travel Reimbursement
Qualifications & skills:
" Strong focus on client support / teamwork oriented / enjoys working within a team that performs a variety of different functions / enjoys learning and developing new skills / enjoys problem solving for team and clients
" High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint (pivot tables, vlookups, formulas)
" Ability to quickly learn ancillary in-house applications and systems
" B.A. Or B.S. Degree preferred
" Recent college graduate okay
" 1-3 years working experience a plus
" Good written and spoken communications skills
" Careful attention to detail and accuracy
