Seeking an Accountant to join our Finance team based in our New York office. This is a unique opportunity to become a member of a small but growing team. 
About the Team
The Finance team is responsible for the global financial and accounting operations at KBRA including but not limited to A/P, A/R, revenue invoicing, cash management, financial reporting and planning & analysis. 
About the Job
You will be a core member of the Finance team. In this role, you will assist with a variety of accounting matters, including preparing and processing sales invoices and performing related A/R follow-up work in close partnership with our Business Development team, processing vendor invoices, employee expense reports and credit card statements. You also will assist in monthly closings, bank reconciliations and various tax information collection. You will be involved with some financial planning work, including reporting on top clients by revenue and other matters as they arise. You will also provide audit related assistance.

You excel in a fast paced, deadline driven environment and consistently strive for accuracy.  You work well independently but are able to effectively collaborate with our team.
You will be successful in this role if you:
  • Are CPA certified
  • Have at least 2 years of experience in an accounting role
  • Have strong organizational skills
  • Have exceptional attention to detail
  • Are proficient in the use of MS Excel, MS Word and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of NetSuite accounting system is a plus
