The individual is responsible for supporting IHC Change CCAR initiatives driven by new Regulatory rules. These initiatives include the design & build of new technology solutions, business process re-engineering as well as continuous improvement efforts. The initial focus will be implementing the capabilities required to enable Comprehensive Capital Analysis & Reporting (CCAR) for Dodd Frank Section 165 compliance.

Main Duties
<>§ Working directly with Finance, Risk and other functional areas to assess current business processes and determine how these can be optimised for CCAR purposes (e.G. Business process re-engineering, new technologies, minor adjustments to existing processes)
<>§ Developing future state business processes as well as the required activities within a control environment to support implementation of the target end state CCAR as it related to Client
<>§ Determining business requirements and prioritizing them for change
<>§ Defining functional requirements, which reflect the business requirements and developing approaches to enable them to be delivered via process changes / technology solutions
<>§ Developing approaches and tools to test new solutions and business processes prior to use
<>§ Performing functional tests of newly built processes and solutions and guiding end user testing of these
<>§ Identifying and escalating as appropriate issues that may arise during the various stages of the CCAR change process (i.E. From analysis and design through to adoption)

Requirements
Essential
<>§ Bachelors Degree (BA/BS)
<>§ 8+ years of direct relevant experience to the role including:
<> oBusiness Analysis/Project Management experience in the financial services industry with demonstrated ability to deliver elements of large scale, critical business change programmes and/or borad experience in delivering corporate change programs within the investment banking sector
<> oSubject matter expertise in the finance function of an investment bank



Preferred
<>§ Bachelors Degree in a Finance or related field (BA/BS)
<>§ Knowledge and experience of the regulatory landscape and the changes impacting Foreign Banking Organisations in the USA
  • Finance Consulting experience
  • Working knowledge of Investment Banking / Financial Services products
  • Experience and knowledge of Finance management and reporting / technology solutions
  • Knowledge and experience utilizing Project Lifecycle methods (e.G. Software Development Lifecycle, Six Sigma)
<>§ Understanding of forecasting and stress testing processes for Balance Sheet, P&L, and Capital for Investment Banking
<>§ Working knowledge of model based projections around Balance Sheet, P&L, and RWA
<>§ Working knowledge of Bank Holding Company (BHC), CCAR (e.G. PPNR reporting requirements) and Basel I II/III capabilities (e.G. Capital Calculations & Reporting)
<>§ Strong PC skills (Microsoft Suite including Excel, Word, Visio and Project)
<>§ Ability to understand and deal with competing priorities
<>§ Ability to be able to take initiative, analyze, summarize, and communicate effectively both in writing and orally
<>§ A strong, polished presence and ability to challenge opinions with confidence and professionalism
<>§ Experience managing staff
