Enable the 2017 Regulatory committed strategic implementation of MIS Balance Sheet reporting capability on firm's strategic REF infrastructure tool Balance Sheet Datamart (BSDM). Further enhance BSDM capabilities to be able to report multiple view of balance sheet MIS capabilities that are specific to each regulatory jurisdictions (IHC, PRA, FINMA) and ability to generate Line of Business (LOB) view with increased level of granularity.

Additionally support CCAR Jump of Points (JoP) data sourcing of Balance Sheet by Line of Business (LoB). Achieve improved efficiencies and controls for balance sheet by LoB data to be used as JoP for CCAR projections that meet the requirements set by Section 165 of the Dodd Frank Act.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prior experience in financial control function with clear knowledge and understanding of balance sheet, off balance sheet, and P&L general ledger postings.
  • Perform business analysis for Jump Off Points balance sheet data sourcing for the CCAR reporting process.
  • Execute and coordinate testing.
  • Develop test plans, test cases and scripts for various test phases.
  • Interface with other teams on cross-functional team projects and participate in discussions with key stakeholders to develop requirements and close-out open issues.
  • Ability to create front-to-back view of data flow based on identifying data linkages across systems.
  • Prior experience in regulatory reporting function with limited background on Fed filings (e.G. FRY9C, FRY14 A).
  • Manage issues / risks on projects with timely issue escalations and suggestions for issue resolutions.

Essential skills and qualifications:
  • Developing and implementing process and system improvement solutions
  • Business Analyst experience required with ability to work independently providing detailed and timely progress update
  • Ability to perform detailed data analysis tasks that includes: Advanced excel, OLAP & accessing several systems either through GUI (OBIEE, business objects, or any other reporting tool) or through back-end SQL access and general ledger applications.
  • Working knowledge of various products in-terms of data sourcing, enrichments and trial balance creation for OTC Derivatives, Security Financing, Loans, Cash Securities.
  • Understand accounting concepts, and financial data
  • Ability to work with stakeholders in remote location

Desired skills and qualifications:
  • College Degree in either Finance, Accounting, or technical discipline
  • Focus in finance or accounting (financial control and regulatory reporting)
