i. Drafting Firm Policies and Procedures on Operational Risk - Advice and guidance regarding Firm policy and procedures on risk globally and across all the Firm's divisions and businesses. Operational risk spans the spectrum of risks, and may impact any of Brokerage operations.
ii. Research, Drafting and Writing - Provide input and execute policies and procedures on bank regulation across all Americas/Europe/Asia businesses and globally - Assist in developing, executing and tracking progress to annual updates of policies and procedure s (i.E., monitoring regulations and business changes)
iii. Corporate Review Processes - Work with Firm executives on content review, incorporating applicable regulations and business processes to ensure that procedures are correctly stated - Document and track review process and conduct due diligence (research and fact-checking) to ensure appropriate documentation of changes, corporate reviews and approvals
- The manager definitely wants candidates with direct experience writing policy and procedures. They should be excellent writers and have good communication skills.
- Many of the candidates from last req had deeper compliance, AML, legal, or litigation backgrounds. Some may be a fit, but manager wanted more experience in Op Risk management or Enterprise risk management and more experience in drafting policies / procedures
