We are seeking an experienced Operations and Derivatives Supervisor in our Jersey City, NJ office. In this position you will lead the daily option processing activity for multiple Company Managed Services clients and their associated business streams. There are currently 13 option/futures clients and our base is growing. Your oversight will include reconciliation and delivery of trade and position breaks, notifications of exercise and assignment activity, OCC Settlement Summary money balancing, position balancing, OCC transfers, and all expiration events. Expiration events would cover Wednesday and Friday weekly expiry events, as well as Quarterly and monthly Friday expirations. Expiry events involve the real time balancing of all option activity to insure all discrepancies are resolved prior to the OCC and CDCC industry window close (Weekly Fridays at 8: 00 pm, and monthly at 9: 30 PM EST).
You will also perform project work related to client conversions, audit inquiries and client demos of in-house option systems and processes. You will collaborate with the Company Sales Support organization on prospective client activities.
You will lead a team of associates located in multiple offices, including India. You will provide quarterly and annual associate performance evaluations to promote talent development. Your oversight of the off-shore team will be imperative to ensure all client deadlines are met with 100% accuracy. You will have the ability to grow not only as a contributor on this team, but within the broader Company organization as well.

Responsibilities include:
Handle key metrics and volume reports
Supply business requirements on system changes/enhancements and for QT testing
Extract data and maintain databases
Interact with the client base on a regular basis, including coverage of monthly client business governance meetings

Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in options and derivatives, as well as experience in a supervisory role
Knowledge of Brokerage Processing Services ( " BPS ") systems, as well as OCC Encore and CDCC Option processing
Product knowledge of US and Canadian options and futures
Bachelor's degree, MBA preferred
Ability to work in a challenging and fast-paced atmosphere in which multi-tasking with numerous clients is needed
Strong communicator and people leader
Strong writing skills to provide defined Service Level Agreements, Detailed Function Lists and business updates to all clients
Excellent PC skills and advanced Excel knowledge with the ability to work and organize large data sets
Series 99 strongly preferred
Ability to travel to India on a periodic basis is necessary
Ability to travel to both existing clients and those Company is onboarding
Coverage time would be approximately 7: 30 am to 5: 30 PM, plus coverage of expiration events; Friday weekly expiry coverage would be until 7: 00 PM, and monthly expiry coverage would be until 9 PM; Saturday morning after Friday monthly expiry is obligatory; times may vary based on that days' circumstances
