Enterprise Market Risk Project Manager

As a Project Manager within CLIENT'S ERM group addressing the Client Minimum Capital Requirements for Market Risk (Fundamental Review of the Trading Book - FRTB), you will apply your deep Project / Program experience in financial risk management or financial regulatory regimes to lead the planning and delivery of this critical internal initiative.
Lead and manage a variety of Market Risk Projects that support FRTB implementation at CLIENT aligning to the parent BANK by:
Structuring and articulating timelines and milestones;
Managing delivery plans;
Tracking / monitoring action items to closure;
Identifying and escalating issues for resolution;
Developing meeting materials and agendas;
Stakeholder / team management and coordination;
Financial budgeting and tracking;
Acting as a key touchpoint for the Program team and Program reporting; and,
Developing subject matter expertise in the area of the Project / Program.
Working closely to RBC counterpart and ensure alignment for requirements, timeline, project plan, status, etc.
5+ years of experience in capital markets, either in Market Risk, Middle Office / Product Control or Back Office.
Experience leading a portion of a risk management or regulatory project.
Understanding of bank risk infrastructure and bank regulatory capital requirements.
Demonstrated understanding of project management frameworks and principles.
Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
Ability to present actionable recommendations to the Program leader.
Strong communication skills; good team player & leader.
Ability to work with and manage numerous stakeholders in various areas of the organization.
Ability to work autonomously.
Ability to deal with ambiguity.
Results oriented with ability to work effectively under consistent time and workload pressures.
Grounding in the Client' Minimum Capital Requirements for Market Risk.
Project management certification.
