The Designer is responsible for design and production of print and electronic marketing materials. This includes working with business managers to identify specific communication needs and strategies, consulting on appropriate and effective deliverables, and maintaining a high level of customer service.
Design print materials ranging from invitations to multi-chapter books/brochures. Design virtual materials for internet or other electronic distribution. Maintain visual consistency across business lines through adherence to/interpretation of the BBH style guide. Design and create presentation templates. Create multimedia graphics for presentations as requested. Develop some wearables/packaging design. Design advertisements for any of the six business lines as needed. Create prepress, film production and distribute as directed by Central Marketing. Act as design and strategy consultant for training and other areas of the bank in the creative process.Cultivate and maintain relationships with outside consultants/vendors. Manage long term projects while meeting short-notice deadlines.Maintain records for each job and hourly tracking database.Attend standing weekly meetings with group, department, and marketing areas.Complete prepress packages for press. 3 to 5 years Graphic Design experience, financial industry experience preferred. BFA or BA with some formal design training and or equivalent work experience. Windows 95 (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel), Quark, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat required. Multimedia experience a plus (Flash or Director). Illustration experience a plus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
